Today we are celebrating our 4th office move within the Codebase building in Stirling.
We moved into Stirling Codebase about 3 1/2 years ago. Codebase is a technology community in Scotland, with three incubators for up and coming technology companies, Stirling, Aberdeen and Edinburgh. Our building in Stirling is one of the prettiest buildings in the area, we are extremely lucky. It used to be the old provost building so it has marble, grand sweeping staircases, carvings, stained glass windows and period features everywhere you turn. https://www.thisiscodebase.com/stirling
Being part of a tech incubator is an amazing resource, and gives us a substantial advantage. We have access to shared tech knowledge within the community, with regular meetings and talks. And we also have access to the best of local tech personnel and graduate trainees and interns. The Codebase team are also brilliant ambassadors for the industry, offering regular IT and coding classes and workshops for school children after school, and coding for girls, among other things.
So on the subject of graduate trainees, Mia (who also happens to be Denise’s daughter, one of the company founders) has also joined the team in a more permanent way. She successfully completed a Masters in business management/entrepreneurship during the Covid lockdown. We are so proud to have her as part of our growing operation here in Stirling, and she will be in charge of international strategy planning and execution, see how much she listened to the lecturers 🙂
Our new office will give us the space to grow as a company, and we also plan to offer user training sessions in our new training area.
